Displayed board in the PTM meeting

An interactive board for INTERNATIONAL LIBRAY MONTH 2013 AT GMBK I was displayed in the PTM to get parent’s response and feedback.Parents response was very encouraging and they appreciated the effort of the library club members inculcating the habit of reading in the students.

Birthday of Roald Dahl

Students of Library Club of Gulshan Middle I celebrated the birthday of a well known writer, Roald Dahl.

Play script extracts of two scenes from his famous novel ‘Matilda’ were dramatized in the form of a role play and presented in the Morning Assembly. Parents of the young artists were invited to appreciate the efforts of the young talent.

The main objective of celebrating the birthday of Roald Dahl was to inculcate reading habits in the students.

Book Hunt

Hello everyone! :) I am Arshia Zehra and I'd like to post here something about the visit to Paramount Publishers.

Library, a reader's paradise, is considered to be a place where the reader can get completely lost in a different world, travel to exciting places and get acquainted with new people.

To create interest in students and motivate them to read more, Gulshan Middle I Librarian Ms Kulsoom Noman took the initiative of taking selected students of the branch to Paramount Book Store's Head Office in order to explore and select the books for the school library.

Under the guidance of the librarian and Science Teacher Mr Aftab, students selected various books that would cater to the requirements of Middle School children. Students were extremely delighted and overwhelmed by the experience, which was evident through their feedback to their classmates.
